In my previous message, I mentioned that the listproc is now processing unsubscribe requests, but I forgot two key pieces of information: 1. How it's done: Send the following command to the listproc (listproc2@bgu.edu): unsubscribe humornet (Nothing else goes on that line!) 2. The charge: Though subscriptions are free, unsubs cost US$5.00 to US$7.00, depending on your geographical location. The charge appears on your credit card as "HumourNet Communications, Inc." (Please remember this when you get your bill.) ;-) Though all of this is spelled out in clear and unambiguous prose in your welcome message, a small few of you are just barely literate enough to subscribe yourselves, but appear to be incapable of figuring out how to undo it. Consider this your HumourNet hand- holding assistance. I hope you've enjoyed it as much as I have. Note that, from here on out, Darwin's Principle is in effect: Please read the instructions, or forever send commands -- ineffectively, mind you -- to the wrong address. - Vince Sabio HumourNet Moderator HumourNet@telephonet.com HumourNet: It's not just for breakfast anymore!
